The Bar Necessities is a Topeka, Kansas based business. All the products are made and poured with love out of my home.
As a part time teacher, I’m always washing my hands. I found the commercial soaps to be very harsh on my skin. I began making bar soap for myself and to give as gifts. My hobby soon turned to business as people began telling me I should sell my soap. I was reluctant at first to take on the responsibility, but soon realized that many people were searching for bath and body products that were gentle on their skin.
